Protests are nonexistent in Lagos State. First daughter Shade Tinubu warns market women not to send their kids to protest in Lagos.

Shade Tinubu, the daughter of President Tinubu, has begged market men and women to advise their kids not to participate in the upcoming statewide demonstration against hunger and financial hardship.

Speaking to a group of market men and women in a video that has gone viral on social media, Ms. Tinubu remarked:

“We should educate ourselves, our family members, and our children at home that there are no protests in Lagos State.” It’s not very good. Remember the previous one where they completely destroyed a lot of our public resources? Don’t let these people use your kids to get them to go around fighting and destroying stuff in exchange for money’

According to her, business owners who had stores in Adeniran Ogunsanya, Lekki, and Sango Tedo that were broken into during the EndSARS protests are still struggling to make ends meet after suffering enormous losses.

she added:

Allow us to speak to ourselves, please. In Lagos State, there are no protests of the sort that make us proud of our government. We’re proud of them. We’re doing well under the state administration, and the person in the center recently took office. Allowing a government to serve for at least three years is necessary before declaring that it has performed poorly.”
